Quality Co-Education for Years 7-13

William Colenso College is proudly and confidently co-educational. A spirit of co-operation and competition thrives amongst the students. The co-educational nature of the school creates a healthy learning atmosphere in which boys and girls learn together and share activities such as Drama, Art, Music, Outdoor Education and many other curriculum areas, which widen their talents.

The development of self-management and personal leadership is an important aspect of the school. We have a broad student leadership team that provides leadership opportunities in the fields of sport, academic, cultural, student support, international students, environment, and event management.
We also provide leadership opportunities for students at year 8 as they are important role models for our year 7 students within the middle school.
